The dress has a square neckline in the front and a deep open V-neck line in the back. There is mesh netting under the bust area. The bust area is pleated down the front. There is a small zipper on the left side of the bust. Zipper is old but may not be original to the dress.
There are snaps and ribbon in the back shoulders of the inside of the dress that could possibly be for holding up a slip that is absent. There are some loose threads and discoloration throughout. There is grey staining on the shoulders, down the right side of the skirt, and around the hem. There is a grey stain line horizontally across the skirt about 22 inches above the hem.There is some repairing under the left side of the bust and the sleeve seams. There is a tear in the right sleeve. There is an approximately 2 inch hole as well as 2 smaller holes in the bottom left of the skirt. There are also two holes on the bottom right of the back of the skirt. The holes at the bottom of the skirt are about 3 inches above the hem. The measurements are given while the dress is laying flat.
